God does not need your good works, but your neighbor does.

Martin Luther

As God’s people, we seek to live out our faith not only in words, but also in deeds which put the love of God in action for the good of our neighbor.

Social Ministry

  • Food Pantry: Providing food assistance to our community with non-perishable donation from our Congregates.
  • Shelter support: Since 1986, we have provided meals to the Homeless Shelter on the fifth Saturday. The Men’s Emergency Shelter provides transitional housing coordinated with substance abuse treatment and counseling, case management, and a required day treatment program.
  • School Supply Drive: back-to-school supply drives for students at a local school.
  • Holiday Giving: We support local families in need during the Thanksgiving and December holidays through the Montgomery County Holiday Giving Project.
  • Benevolence Fund:  Providing financial assistance to individual and families in our community.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:11
